About Varosha

Varosha began in April 2004 with the simple idea that everyone should have a chance to provide a decent quality of life for themselves and their families. As many around the world do not have the means or opportunity to learn employable skills, they are stuck within a cycle of poverty and hopelessness. Varosha is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education, resources, and expertise to economically empower individuals.

Varosha is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education, resources, and expertise to empower individuals. Throughout the years, we have supported a range of training programs in various fields such as beautician training, tailoring, Jori work, pasta making, embroidery, mushroom cultivation, agricultural assistance, fish farming and small animal husbandry, computer training, and healthcare assistance. Our mission is to give people a hand up, and with the help of our partners, we run training centers to equip individuals with the skills they need to thrive. Once the training is complete, Varosha provides interest-free loans to trainees, enabling them to start their own businesses and become self-sufficient.
