Varosha helps the disadvantaged work towards self-sufficiency and a sustainable quality of life through vocational training, education, support, and experience.  Varosha is a registered not-for-profit philanthropic organization with tax exempt status under not-for-profit laws.

Working through partners and volunteers, Varosha runs free training centers and vocational schools in some of the poorest areas of the world so that the disadvantaged people of these areas have a chance to escape poverty and make a life for themselves and their families.

Varosha has already helped many people from poverty-stricken slums in India achieve financial independence.

From beautician and tailoring schools to computer classes, Varosha provides directed and practical training to those who need it the most.  Through interest free loans, Varosha helps the trained individuals create their own enterprises, and become truly self-sufficient.  In this regard, Varosha is uniquely positioned as a provider of “end-to-end” support for the people of the slums.
